Who we are
This site is operated by Net Button Online LLC, 601 Lexington Ave, Suite 2000, New York, NY 10022, USA. For any privacy matter, email info@netbuttononline.com or call +1-212-555-3243.
Information we collect
We keep collection deliberately small. When you visit, our hosting provider records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and the time of the request, in server logs used for security and reliability. If you email us, we hold the message and your address for as long as needed to deal with your query.
The signup form on this site
The “Get flowers growing tips” panel on our home page is a browser-only demonstration. The address you type is validated by a small script running on your own device, echoed back to you on the page, and then discarded when you close or reload the page. It is not transmitted to us, not stored on any server, and not added to any mailing list. No account is created and nothing is shared with a third party.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of cookies and equivalent browser storage: strictly necessary items that make the site function and remember your response to the cookie notice, and optional analytics that tell us in aggregate which guides are read. Analytics data is not used to identify you personally. You can decline optional cookies using the notice, and you can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings — parts of the site may behave differently if you do.
Fonts and third parties
Typefaces on this site are served by Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google’s servers and Google may log the IP address used to make it. Our hosting provider processes data on our behalf under contract. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
How long we keep things
Server logs are retained for a limited period for security and diagnostics. Email correspondence is kept while it is needed for the matter it concerns and for a reasonable period afterwards. Aggregate analytics are retained in summary form.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict certain processing, to receive a copy in a portable form, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, email info@netbuttononline.com. We will not treat you differently for exercising a right.
Children
This site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the limited information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International visitors
Our site is hosted and administered in the United States. If you visit from elsewhere, your information may be processed in the United States under different data protection rules from those in your own country.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will revise the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted on the page itself.
